<p>Description</p> <p>The Best Teams are Created and Maintained Here.</p> <p>Job Summary</p> <ul> <li>The BVG Landscape Foreman oversees the installation of landscape upgrades for commercial maintenance accounts. </li></ul> <p>Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Conduct weekly job site inspections and complete job site checklists </li><li>Oversee installation of landscape, irrigation, and site development materials </li><li>Schedule and coordinate timely delivery of materials and equipment </li><li>Ensure crew productivity, quality control, and compliance with safety protocols </li><li>Assist in job scheduling and manage coordination with subcontractors </li><li>Lead weekly tailgate safety meetings and ensure employee attendance </li><li>Enforce on-site safety practices, including traffic hazard reviews, hard hat and safety gear checks, underground utility alerts and trade hazard evaluations, and general public safety assessments </li><li>Maintain hazardous communication folders with chemical safety forms </li><li>Report unsafe behavior or incidents to the Superintendent and Safety Office </li><li>Submit accident reports in accordance with company policy </li><li>Safeguard company assets and ensure proper use of materials and tools </li><li>Support internal controls to prevent fraud and ensure proper segregation of duties </li><li>Uphold confidentiality of proprietary information and comply with all laws, regulations, and company ethics policies </li><li>Periodically reconcile physical assets with accounting records </li></ul> <p>Education and Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Minimum 3 years of experience in construction or landscape installation </li><li>Proven leadership experience managing crews on active job sites </li><li>Familiarity with reading and interpreting blueprints </li><li>Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment </li><li>Strong attention to detail and a solid work ethic </li><li>Effective oral and written communication skills </li><li>Bilingual (Spanish) strongly preferred </li><li>First Aid certification (or ability to become certified) </li></ul> <p>Physical Demands/Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to lift and carry 40 lbs. (mulch, fertilizer, etc.) </li><li>Ability to load/unload burlaps with plant cuttings onto trailer (up to 50 lbs.) </li><li>Ability to bend, stoop and twist continuously throughout the day </li></ul> <p>Work Environment:</p> <ul> <li>Work in/or about situations near direct automotive traffic </li><li>Work near or about natural bodies of water </li><li>Work 8+ hours per day with applicable breaks x 5 days/week (some overtime/weekend work required) </li><li>Ability to work in extreme conditions - temperatures may exceed 100 degrees Fahrenheit </li><li>Ability to work in direct sunlight for extended periods of time </li></ul> <p>BrightView Landscapes, LLC is an Equal Opportunity and E-Verify Employer.</p> <p>This job description is subject to change at any time.</p> <p>Compensation Pay Range:</p> <p>$30.00 to $32.00</p> <p>BrightView offers a suite or health, wellness, and financial benefits to full-time team members.
