<p>Job Summary:</p> <p>Research new technologies, materials, and machinery to produce creative designs for creation of new or improvement of existing machines, fixtures, tooling, etc.</p> <p>Duties & Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Use of Solidworks, Mastercam, or other software packages as needed to create tool and die designs and related engineering documentation </li><li>Examine and understand specifications, product design drawings, work orders, service requirements, and past tooling designs to assure future designs meet all manufacturing expectations </li><li>Selection of standard components to incorporate into design concepts for ease of use and continued maintenance </li><li>Provide assistance as needed in the tool room to create CNC programs or provide guidance on design intent </li><li>Modify tool designs according to trial or production service data to make overall process improvements </li><li>Communicate and develop relationships with outside vendors </li><li>Perform additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent </li><li>Working knowledge or education in the use of Solidworks or other 3D CAD design software to create assemblies and tooling/machine designs </li><li>5-10 years of experience as a Journeyman Tool and Die Maker and/or Tool & Die design is preferred </li></ul> <p>Competitive Pay & Benefits:</p> <ul> <li>Paid vacation and 11 paid holidays </li><li>Medical, dental, life, and disability insurance </li><li>HSA and FSA accounts </li><li>401k with company matching and profit sharing </li><li>Tuition reimbursement </li></ul>
