<p>Position Summary</p> <p>As a Psychological Associate at WRC, you will provide mental health services for residents including treatment, evaluation, and team treatment planning. You will:</p> <ul> <li>Conduct individual and group treatment. </li><li>Develop individualized treatment plans. </li><li>Provide evidence-based treatment services. </li><li>Conduct psychological screenings and risk assessments during resident intake. </li><li>Conduct behavioral assessments. </li><li>Display leadership in applying professional mental health approaches. </li><li>Provide consultation, evaluation, and training to WRC staff regarding mental health treatment, evaluation, and diagnosis. </li></ul> <p>Salary Information</p> <p>Starting pay is $43.66 /hour (approximately $90,800 annually), plus excellent benefits. A 12-month probationary period is required. Additional add-on available for:</p> <ul> <li>$6.00 /hour for a recognized Doctorate in Psychology or a related field such as Behavioral Disabilities </li><li>$3.00 /hour for a total of $9.00 /hour for an Interim Psychologist Licensure </li><li>$5.00 /hour for total of $11.00 /hour for a Permanent Psychologist Licensure </li><li>12-month probationary period is required. Pay schedule and range is 12/63. </li><li>Pay for current or former state employees will be set based on the rules that apply to compensation for the applicable transaction. </li></ul> <p>Job Details</p> <p>All appointees will be required to allow DHS to conduct a background check to determine whether the circumstances of any conviction may be related to the job being filled.</p> <p>All appointees will be required to receive a TB test, which will be administered by WRC or medical personnel approved by the facility within 30 days of the start date.</p> <p>DHS does not sponsor work visas for this position, thus, in compliance with federal law, selected candidates will be required to verify eligibility to work in the United States by completing the required I-9 form upon hire.</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Minimum qualifications include all of the following:</p> <ul> <li>A Master's degree in Psychology (Clinical Psychology, Behavior Psychology, Forensic Psychology, etc.) or related mental health field (Community Counseling, Clinical Social Work, etc.) from an accredited program. Note: a copy of your transcripts will be required prior to appointment to this position. </li><li>Experience or training in mental health diagnosis. </li><li>Experience or training in psychotherapy. </li></ul> <p>Well-qualified applicants will also have one or more of the following:</p> <ul> <li>Completion of at least 3000 total hours of license-eligible supervised clinical experience, including at least 1000 hours of face-to-face client contact, after receiving the master's degree. </li><li>Experience working with individuals in the criminal justice or prison system. </li><li>Experience working in an institutional setting such as a hospital, mental health facility, jail, or prison. </li><li>Experience working as a member of a multidisciplinary treatment team. </li></ul> <p>Your resume is limited to 2 pages.
