<p>Kforce's client is part of one of the fastest growing CPA firms in the U.S. They are seeking an Audit Manager in their NYC office. In this role, you will assist in planning engagements and execution of audit procedures.</p> <p>Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Audit Manager will assist in resolution of issues </li><li>Supervise various levels of professional and support staff adherence to budgets </li><li>Will be primary contact with client management regarding audit scope, status, and findings </li><li>As an Audit Manager, you will communicate effectively with clients and third parties in telephone conversations, written correspondence, and meetings* Bachelor's degree </li><li>CPA completed or in progress </li><li>7+ years of public accounting audit experience; Experience in the Not For Profit and/or construction industries are a big plus </li><li>Proficient with technology related to audit/accounting and research software </li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel </li><li>Superior communication skills </li><li>Highly motivated and looking to advance within the firm </li><li>Ability to supervise others in a team environment and work on multiple engagements simultaneously </li><li>Ability to prioritize and ask questions when necessary to effectively complete work </li></ul>
