This role supports both commercial vehicle maintenance and an active multi-series race program - offering variety and flexible hours in a calm, well-supplied environment, without the pressure of flat-rate billing.</p> <p>Position: Race Mechanic / Fabricator / Fleet Maintenance</p> <p>What You'll Do:</p> <ul> <li>Maintain Ford E250/E350 vans and F150 pickups (2004-2016) </li><li>Prep Broncos, Jeeps, UTVs and Race UTVs, for off-road events </li><li>Support drag boat prep and pit operations (ADBA and CDBA race programs) </li><li>Perform R and R of motors, drivetrain service, and general mechanical work </li><li>Route and assemble braided fuel lines, cooling, and basic plumbing systems </li><li>Assist with light fabrication - grinding, tack welding, fit-up </li><li>Follow direction on pre-designed mechanical builds </li><li>Support travel/pit crew operations at select race events </li></ul> <p>Shop Resources:</p> <ul> <li>Heated and cooled private facility </li><li>Full Snap-On tool suite and fabrication equipment </li><li>ProDemand diagnostic software </li><li>NAPA Car Care ProLink system with OEM charge accounts </li><li>Tasks assigned through Office 365 with clear notes, photos, and deadlines - no guesswork </li><li>Light recordkeeping only - no billing duties </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Experienced with automotive, fleet vehicles, off-road, or racing equipment </li><li>Strong diagnostic skills - able to find and solve problems efficiently </li><li>Self-motivated and able to manage a task list independently without constant follow-up </li><li>Computer literate - diagnostic tools, parts software, and task management apps </li><li>Clean, organized, and comfortable working in a professional shop environment </li><li>Clean driving record required </li><li>Open to part-time or full-time </li><li>Full-time includes health insurance </li></ul> <p>Benefits:</p> <ul> <li>Health insurance (full-time employees), </li><li>Corporate profit-sharing opportunity, </li><li>Rece travel expenses covered for event support </li></ul> <p>Note:</p> <p>Major engine and transmission rebuilds are outsourced.
