From toys to t-shirts, console games, books, and more, our team brings our beloved brands and franchises into the lives of families through products and experiences that can be found worldwide, such as the Disney Store e-commerce platform, Disney Parks, local and international retailers, and Disney Store locations.</p> <p>The Assistant Merchandiser will assist in creating the product strategy for a collection of products or initiatives for Glow & Premium Toys in the development of highest quality, consumer focused, trend-right product lines across all distribution channels, including licensing, flex business models, vertical, and wholesale.</p> <p>You will report to the Merchandising Manager or Sr Manager, Merchandising.</p> <p>This is an onsite position based out of our Kissimmee, FL office.</p> <p>Responsibilities/You Will:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Assist in creating the product strategy for a collection of products or initiatives for Glow & Premium Toys</p> </li><li> <p>Research, organize findings, assemble input from key partners and prepare presentation decks, briefs and recaps for key milestone meetings</p> </li><li> <p>Establish perspective on what's working and why to consistently improve product line</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrated passion for consumer and product trends</p> </li><li> <p>Deliver all item set up information within designated global systems across vertical channels</p> </li><li> <p>Attend cross functional team meetings to assist with the input/output of communication</p> </li><li> <p>Coordinate samples among key partners and room set ups for product showcases</p> </li><li> <p>Manage updates and maintenance of the Range Plan</p> </li><li> <p>Prepare and maintain catalog of merchandise by quarter</p> </li><li> <p>Assist with other Merchandising team projects as needed</p> </li></ul> <p>Basic Qualifications/You Have:</p> <ul> <li> <p>0-1 years of experience in Product or Merchandising</p> </li><li> <p>Interest in building product lines and understanding category strategy</p> </li><li> <p>Strong interpersonal and communication skills</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborative team player with ability to build partnerships across functions</p> </li><li> <p>Highly organized with strong time management and attention to detail</p> </li><li> <p>Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment</p> </li><li> <p>Positive attitude, proactive approach, and willingness to learn</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines</p> </li></ul> <p>Education:</p> <ul> <li>Associate's degree or equivalent work experience </li></ul> <p>Additional Information:</p> <p>Disney offers a rewards package to help you live your best life.
