This role involves planning, conducting takeoffs, reconciling construction contractor's costs, performing Excel analysis, and developing Excel spreadsheets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in MEP and a passion for cost engineering.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Plan and manage cost-related tasks in construction projects. </li><li>Conduct takeoffs and reconcile construction contractor's costs. </li><li>Perform detailed Excel analysis and develop spreadsheets. </li><li>Engage in change order management and negotiation. </li><li>Utilize Bluebeam and AutoCAD for project tasks. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>2-5+ years of experience in cost engineering or project controls. </li><li>Proficiency in construction management and cost analysis. </li><li>Experience with change order and negotiation processes. </li><li>Strong skills in Excel, Bluebeam, and AutoCAD. </li><li>background in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing). </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Experience with DEP (Department of Environmental Protection) is a plus. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>This position is 100 percent in-office.
