<p>Position Summary</p> <p>We are seeking a detail-oriented, motivated and reliable employee to help us staff our rotomold facility. As a Rotomold Inspector, you will inspect large-scale commercial and military rotationally-molded parts to strict dimensional, structural, and aesthetic standards.</p> <p>Position Summary</p> <ul> <li>Perform inspections of molded parts, purchased parts, and finished products according to well-defined criteria using standard physical, mechanical measurements </li><li>Evaluate mold integrity and cleanliness based on part defects </li><li>Accurately document the results of the inspections and testing </li><li>Maintain controlled document files and test records in a timely and accurate manner </li><li>Monitor critical equipment and instrumentation to ensure proper operation and calibration </li><li>Assist in the performing and updating inspection procedures, protocol and checklists </li><li>Assists in the definition of Critical to Quality (CTQ) characteristics </li><li>Evaluate problems and make initial recommendations for possible corrective action </li><li>Work with production management to provide feedback regarding accuracy procedures </li></ul> <p>Position Requirements</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or equivalent required </li><li>2 years of QA/QC experience is preferred but not required </li><li>Manual dexterity is a requirement. You must be able to stand, kneel, squat, reach , push, pull, climb and use common hand tools and devices without restriction </li><li>You must be able to lift 50lbs regularly </li><li>You will be required to work in an outdoor environment </li><li>Must have good English written and verbal communication skills </li><li>Good analytical skills and attentiveness to detail are required </li><li>Working knowledge of basic measurement instruments required </li><li>Ability to read, understand and interpret engineering drawings required </li><li>Experience with rotomold or plastic molding processes is preferred </li><li>Forklift certification is preferred </li></ul> <p>Mainstream Engineering Corporation is an equal opportunity employer.
