<p>Job Description:</p> <p>NOTE: This position is for the 2026-2027 school year. The salary will be based on the 2026-2027 salary schedule which is not yet approved by the Board of Education. The salary listed is based on the current year's salary schedule.</p> <p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Missouri Teacher Certification. </li><li>Missouri Administrative Certification with a Master's Degree in Administration preferred. </li><li>Must have at least 4 years of successful teaching experience at the appropriate level </li><li>CPR, AED, First Aid Certification and National Federation of High School Concussion </li><li>Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable. </li></ul> <p>REPORTS TO:</p> <p>Building Principal and Assistant Superintendent</p> <p>SUPERVISES:</p> <p>Coaches and student activity sponsors.</p> <p>PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Assist in selecting, assigning, and evaluating all coaching personnel. </li><li>Assumes leadership role in the orientation and in-service training of coaching personnel. </li><li>Represents the School District in matters of interscholastic athletics with the MSHSAA. </li><li>Is responsible for the organization, scheduling, and publicity of athletic events at the high school and middle school level. </li><li>Contracts officials for all home contests and confirms the scheduled dates. </li><li>Arranges transportation for away contests and makes arrangements for lodging and meals when required. </li><li>Develops and continues to evaluate and administer appropriate rules and regulations governing the conduct of athletic activities and maintains files to document these activities. </li><li>Fosters good school-parent relations by maintaining communications relative to rules and regulations on athletics, and annually reviews the athletic policy and coaching staff handbooks. </li><li>Establishes and enforces the physical, academic and training requirements of eligibility for participation and maintains files to document these requirements. </li><li>Makes recommendations for improvement, repair, and maintenance of athletic and physical education facilities. </li><li>Coordinates and schedules the use of all school facilities for interscholastic athletic contests, activities, and use by outside groups. Hires or makes necessary arrangements to provide ushers, parking, security, and other services required for activities or events. Assumes responsibility for assignment of keys if necessary. </li><li>Assumes responsibility for safekeeping and deposit of gate receipts. </li><li>Establishes procedures for use of the training room. </li><li>Arranges for medical personnel at home varsity athletic contests as needed. </li><li>Schedules equitable utilization of the concession stands. </li><li>Arranges for scheduling physical examinations for athletes in accordance with MSHSAA requirements. </li><li>Assumes responsibility for the operation and organization of the press boxes and public address system. </li><li>Plans, organizes, and supervises all athletic awards programs with the Booster Club and serves as a liaison at all Booster Club meetings. </li><li>Distributes complimentary Athletic/Activity passes for the District. </li><li>Supervises and coordinates school activities such as: graduation, prom, clubs, class sponsors, Student Council, assemblies, senior picnic, approval of field trips, fun-raisers, choral and instrumental music, and speech and debate. </li><li>Coordinates the high school Athletics/Activities Calendar. </li><li>Provides assistance to support the general administration Grandview High School as deemed appropriate and necessary. </li><li>Meet and greet the public in a courteous manner </li><li>Administers and supports Hall of Fame program and manages all related activities. </li><li>Other duties as assigned by the building principal </li></ul> <p>TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Twelve month year</p> <p>Salary Range $109,227.93 to $135,311.83</p> <p>You are navigating off of REAP site to the district's posting.</p> <p>OK</p>
