<p>Description</p> <p>Job Summary</p> <p>Actively engages customers to create a unique experience, providing excellent customer service and assistance during the checkout process; provides carry out service of customers' purchases. Maintain a safe and clean environment throughout the store while maintaining supply levels for the front end.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Provides excellent customer service. </li><li>Bags customer purchases, carries them out and loads them into vehicle (as needed) </li><li>Performs price checks. </li><li>Sorts and returns items to normal shelf location with priority given to refrigerated and perishable items. </li><li>Collects shopping carts from parking lot. </li><li>Maintains a safe and clean environment. </li><li>Ensures front entrance areas and common public areas such as walkways and vestibules are clean, dry and safe. </li><li>Replenishes supplies such as bags and trash liners at check stand </li><li>Performs other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Working Conditions</p> <p>Works in a non-smoking store environment where there is not physical discomfort due to temperature, dust, noise, etc. Works outside in all weather conditions to retrieve carts and assist customers.</p> <p>Equipment Operated</p> <ul> <li>Grocery carts </li><li>Grocery cart harness </li><li>General office supplies </li><li>Tablet devices </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <p>Education And Experience</p> <ul> <li>High school education or equivalent or current enrollment is required </li><li>Prior experience as Bagger is preferred </li></ul> <p>Knowledge, Skills, Abilities</p> <ul> <li>Interpersonal skills </li><li>Verbal communication skills </li><li>Attention to detail </li><li>Organizational skills </li><li>Ability to work independently and with a team </li><li>Ability to work with little to no supervision </li><li>Ability to navigate a parking lot safely </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Bending </li><li>Standing </li><li>Communication (Verbal) </li><li>Carrying 40lbs. </li><li>Reading </li><li>Walking </li><li>Hearing (Auditory) </li><li>Reaching </li><li>Grasping </li><li>Lifting 40 lbs. </li><li>Writing </li><li>Sight or Peripheral Vision </li></ul>
