This position will be located in Reno, NV with 100% in office requirement.</p> <p>Essential Educational Qualification and Experience</p> <ul> <li>Minimum of 3+ years of Experience in SOX compliance, Internal Audit, or related risk management roles </li><li>Minimum 2 years of experience leading training and/or quality teams preferred </li><li>Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related field preferred </li></ul> <p>Essential skills</p> <ul> <li>Excellent interpersonal and communication Skills with the ability to facilitate trainings as well as deliver targeted error feedback </li><li>Solid understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley Act requirements and COSO Internal Control Framework </li><li>Excellent project management and interpersonal skills working with all levels of management and client facing roles </li><li>Experience working as a third party vendor in the outsourcing industry in an ever changing environment </li><li>Proven experience in training facilitation while being and Subject Matter Expert in SOX compliance </li><li>Team coordination - Experience in coordinating the activities of the entire Training department, working with QA teams to continually refine training material </li><li>Process improvement - Focused to seek out ways to improve processes </li></ul> <p>Operational Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Lead the company's SOX compliance program, including risk assessment, control, design, walkthroughs, and testing </li><li>Collaborate with client stakeholders and 3rd party auditor to ensure appropriate internal controls are crafted and operating effectively </li><li>Lead all aspects of the documentation, evaluation and remediation of control deficiencies and process improvements. </li><li>Act as a liaison with external auditors, ensuring timely and accurate responses to audit requests in line with contractual obligations </li><li>Continuous improve processes by leveraging automation, analytics and industry best practices. </li><li>Assess current testing needs and schedules to determine staffing needs for effectively conducting the training classes required. </li><li>Understands and assimilates information to accurately respond by providing data driven responses to needs and concerns both internally and for the client </li></ul> <p>Cognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring company sponsorship now or any time in the future</p> <p>Annual Rate and Other Compensation:</p> <p>The annual compensation for this role is between $73,539-$80,800, depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.</p> <p>This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.</p> <p>Benefits: Cognizant offers the following benefits, subject to applicable eligibility requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Medical/Dental/Vision/Life Insurance </li><li>Paid holidays plus Paid Time Off </li><li>401(k) plan and contributions </li><li>Long-term/Short-term Disability </li><li>Paid Parental Leave </li><li>Employee Stock Purchase Plan </li></ul> <p>Disclaimer: The salary, other compensation, and benefits information is accurate as of the date of this posting.
