This role focuses on preparing, adjusting, and optimizing artwork for high-quality print output while collaborating closely with the screen print department. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and has a strong understanding of print processes, color management, and file preparation.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Prepare and finalize customer-supplied and in-house designs for screen printing production </li><li>Separate artwork by color and create print-ready files for multi-color jobs </li><li>Adjust designs to meet screen printing requirements, including trapping, halftones, and proper resolution </li><li>Ensure color accuracy using Pantone matching and color calibration techniques </li><li>Collaborate with the screen print team to ensure designs translate effectively from digital to physical prints </li><li>Review proofs and conduct pre-production checks to minimize errors and waste </li><li>Maintain organized file systems and version control for production assets </li><li>Collaborate with Marketing for ad campaigns and other marketing projects </li><li>Operate within production timelines and prioritize multiple jobs simultaneously </li><li>Troubleshoot artwork issues and recommend improvements for print quality and efficiency </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <ul> <li>2+ years of graphic design experience in a production or print environment </li><li>Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop; InDesign a plus) </li><li>Strong understanding of screen-printing processes, including separations and ink behavior </li><li>Experience with vector artwork and preparing files for print production </li><li>Knowledge of color theory, Pantone systems, and color matching </li><li>High attention to detail and accuracy </li><li>Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment </li><li>Strong communication and collaboration skills </li></ul> <p>Benefits</p> <ul> <li>Medical, Dental, Vision & Disability Insurance </li><li>Life and Long-Term Disability Insurance </li><li>Flexible Spending Plan </li><li>401(k) </li><li>Paid Time Off </li><li>Paid Holidays </li><li>Parental Leave </li><li>Employee Discount </li></ul> <p>Salary Description</p> <p>$55,000 - $70,000</p>
