This combination truly makes us a best place to work!</p> <p>Purpose:</p> <p>Provide warehousing service including shipping, receiving, and inventory control.</p> <p>Job Functions/Accountabilities (Essential & Marginal):</p> <ul> <li>Work efficiently and accurately to process customer orders - using pick lists to pull material according to customers' requirements, correctly applying shipping labels (picking, loading, labeling, shipping, etc.) </li><li>Move material by forklift - both loading orders to go out and unloading product to place in inventory. </li><li>Receive product in, properly store product, and assist in inventory level maintenance and inventory counts. Conduct quality inspections of products when required. </li><li>Operate sweeper scrubber and perform other housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean working environment. </li><li>Handle returnable pallets and process as required. </li><li>Handle hazardous materials - unloading and loading and preparing materials for shipment (including the correct marking and labels). </li><li>Work efficiently and effectively with co-workers to accomplish daily tasks. </li><li>Follow safety, quality, and operational procedures. </li><li>Be proactive. Make suggestions for continual improvement in processes. </li><li>Perform all other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Education:</p> <p>High School Diploma or GED required.</p> <p>Experience:</p> <p>3 years in a shipping, receiving, and warehousing environment</p> <p>Special Qualifications:</p> <p>Basic MS Office knowledge (Word, Outlook, Excel, and Power Point) are required</p> <p>Good verbal and written communication skills are required</p> <p>Forklift training/certification is preferred</p> <p>Work well under "time constraints" and "under pressure"</p> <p>DOT Hazardous Materials by Ground Certification preferred</p> <p>Work Conditions</p> <p>Office environment/Warehouse environment. Some exposure to dirt, heat, noise, fumes, etc. Frequent standing and walking and handling moderate to heavy weights.
