We invite you to be part of our community where you can grow your career and serve with your heart.</p> <p>Monday - Friday schedule, 9 Holidays, generous Vacation and Sick policy, and onsite corporate gym.</p> <p>In our time of Company growth, we seek an Optical Technician/Ophthalmic Assistant.</p> <p>Work Location: Bradenton, FL</p> <p>As part of this role, you will:</p> <ul> <li>Provide quality Comprehensive Eye Care </li><li>Triage patients and give brief description of presenting problem meeting all documentation requirements </li><li>Prepare patient charts for visit with Provider </li><li>Maintain exam rooms </li><li>Perform preliminary tests to assist Doctor with eye exam and record on correct exam </li><li>Assist Doctor with exam procedures when indicated </li><li>Perform additional testing when ordered by Doctor </li><li>Read and interpret spectacle and contact lens prescriptions </li><li>Fit and measure frames on patient for proper size </li><li>Track spectacle Rx orders and frame inventory </li></ul> <p>What you need to bring to this role:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or GED required </li><li>At least 1 year experience in in Optometric. Ophthalmic, or Medical office preferred </li><li>Certification at one of the following levels: COA, COT, COMT, CPO, CPOA, CPO is preferred </li><li>A valid Government issued photo ID </li><li>Microsoft Office Products - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint proficiency required </li></ul>
