<p>Resource Innovations is excited to welcome a Part-Time Transportation Electrification Program Intern to our dynamic team serving Washington and Oregon. This part-time internship, spanning up to six months from April 2026 to October 2026, offers a unique chance to engage deeply with grant review and program delivery within our Transportation Electrification portfolio.</p> <p>This position plays a key role in shaping funding decisions for utility- and government-supported TE grant programs across Oregon and Washington. It's an outstanding opportunity for graduate students in Urban Planning, Nonprofit Management, Public Policy, Environmental Studies, or related fields to gain practical, hands-on experience in clean energy program management and equitable infrastructure funding.</p> <p>As part of our collaborative project delivery team, you will review transportation electrification grant applications-assessing them using a structured rubric, crafting detailed project summaries, presenting your insights and funding recommendations, and offering essential administrative support.</p> <p>We're looking for a candidate who excels in reading comprehension and time management, is exceptionally organized, and communicates clearly and confidently, both verbally and in writing. You will work 16-20 hours per week during standard business hours (9 AM-5 PM), with flexible time to accommodate additional application review. A genuine passion for equitable clean energy access and a keen understanding of how transportation electrification intersects with environmental justice and community resilience are essential.</p> <p>Resource Innovations (RI) is a women-led energy transformation firm focused on impact. With every step, we're leading the charge to power change.</p> <p>Duties and Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Support the Program Delivery Manager to ensure program KPIs are met, reporting, and documentation is completed on schedule </li><li>Deliver best-in-class client services </li><li>Review and evaluate grant applications against program eligibility and scoring criteria </li><li>Conduct due diligence on applicant organizations and proposed projects </li><li>Draft application summaries and funding recommendations </li><li>Develop summary slide decks synthesizing findings for internal and external audiences </li><li>Conduct applicant interviews as part of the review process </li><li>Present findings and recommendations to grant selection committees </li><li>Utilize GIS tools to analyze geographic distribution and equity considerations across applicant portfolios </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul>
