Our San Jose office is seeking a friendly, organized, and service-focused Patient Care Coordinator who is passionate about creating positive experiences and helping patients feel comfortable, informed, and supported throughout their visit.</p> <p>As a key member of our front office team, you'll help create a welcoming environment while supporting scheduling, patient communication, insurance coordination, and daily office operations. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy building relationships with patients, we'd love to meet you.</p> <p>What You'll Do</p> <ul> <li>Welcome patients with warmth, professionalism, and a positive first impression </li><li>Manage patient check-in and check-out processes efficiently and accurately </li><li>Schedule appointments and coordinate daily patient flow to support an exceptional office experience </li><li>Verify insurance benefits and assist patients with questions regarding coverage and payment options </li><li>Answer phones, respond to patient inquiries, and provide outstanding customer service </li><li>Support treatment acceptance by helping patients understand next steps and financial arrangements </li><li>Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality at all times </li><li>Partner closely with doctors, hygienists, and team members to deliver seamless patient care </li></ul> <p>What We're Looking For</p> <ul> <li>At least 1 year of experience in a dental, healthcare, or customer service environment preferred </li><li>Knowledge of dental terminology and dental insurance processes preferred </li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first mindset </li><li>Highly organized with strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities </li><li>Positive attitude, professionalism, and ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment </li><li>Experience with dental software systems is a plus </li></ul> <p>Why Join Our San Jose Team?</p> <p>At Smile Brands, you'll enjoy the support, training, and growth opportunities of a nationally recognized organization while working in a collaborative and patient-focused office environment.
