<p>Schedule:</p> <p>Monday - Friday (40 hrs/wk)</p> <p>8:30 AM - 5:00 PM</p> <p>Department: Clinical Trials - 607</p> <p>Primary Purpose:</p> <p>The Associate Project Manager I is an entry-level position responsible for providing collaborative support to the groups pharmaceutical projects. An Associate Project Manager I supports the planning, scheduling, monitoring, and controlling aspects of projects and works closely with Project and Program Managers on assigned projects. An Associate Project Manager I may manage small straightforward projects or sub-projects with more autonomy, as assigned.</p> <p>Position may specialize in functional areas, such as Information Technology or Laboratory, which may require additional specific skill and experience.</p> <p>About ARUP:</p> <p>ARUP Laboratories is a national clinical and anatomic pathology reference laboratory and an enterprise of the University of Utah and its Department of Pathology. Consider joining our dynamic team.</p> <p>Essential Functions:</p> <p>Supports department staff in project management activities.</p> <p>Assists in the planning and implementation of projects with oversight.</p> <p>Supports aspects of complex projects as requested.</p> <p>Responsible for learning and implementing Good Clinical Practices (GCP) and Medical Device Design Control requirements for projects.</p> <p>Coordinates and collaborates with subject matter experts to conduct data analysis and risk assessments in relation to compliance with established procedures.</p> <p>Presents analysis results to managers or senior management.</p> <p>Coordinates communications as warranted by project scope.</p> <p>Tracks proposed projects and track and resolve issues related to the proposed projects.</p> <p>Functions as liaison with internal customers on projects.</p> <p>Ensures that proper processes are being followed and assist in establishing new processes as required.</p> <p>Other duties as assigned</p> <p>Physical and Other Requirements:</p> <p>Stooping: Bending body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist.</p> <p>Reaching: Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction.</p> <p>Mobility: The person in this position needs to occasionally move between work sites and inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.</p> <p>Communicate: Frequently communicate with others.</p> <p>PPE: Biohazard laboratory environment that requires use of personal protective equipment in accordance with CDC and OSHA regulations and company policies.</p> <p>ARUP Policies and Procedures: To conduct self in compliance with all ARUP Policies and Procedures.</p> <p>Sedentary Work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.</p> <p>Fine Motor Control: Picking, pinching, typing or otherwise working, primarily with fingers rather than with the whole hand as in handling.</p> <p>Vision: Having close, far, and peripheral visual acuity to perform a variety of tasks such as make general observations of depth and distance.</p>
