<p>Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Director of Business Development in Denver, CO</p> <p>Responsibilities of the Director of Business Development include:</p> <ol> <li>Relationship Building: </li></ol> <ul> <li>Develop and maintain strong relationships with key government stakeholders, including decision-makers, influencers, and procurement officials. </li><li>Act as the primary liaison between the company and government clients, ensuring clear and effective communication. </li></ul> <ol start="2"> <li>Capture Management: </li></ol> <ul> <li>Lead the capture management process for government contracts, including the identification of opportunities, strategy development, and proposal management. </li><li>Oversee the creation and submission of high-quality, compliant proposals in response to RFPs, RFIs, and other government solicitations. </li></ul> <ol start="3"> <li>B2B2G Strategy Execution: </li></ol> <ul> <li>Develop and execute comprehensive B2B2G strategies to enhance our market position and drive growth in the government sector. </li><li>Collaborate with marketing, sales, and product teams to align efforts and ensure a cohesive approach to government business development. </li></ul> <ol start="4"> <li>Market Intelligence and Insights: </li></ol> <ul> <li>Provide the product team with critical insights into government user needs, preferences, and pain points. </li><li>Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform strategic decision-making and product development. </li></ul> <ol start="5"> <li>Compliance and Risk Management: </li></ol> <ul> <li>Ensure all proposals and contracts comply with government regulations and standards. </li><li>Identify and mitigate risks associated with government contracts and relationships. </li></ul> <ol start="6"> <li>Performance Monitoring and Reporting: </li></ol> <ul> <li>Track and report on the performance of capture management activities, including win rates, revenue generated, and key performance indicators (KPIs). </li><li>Provide regular updates to senior leadership on the status of key opportunities and initiatives. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications for the Director of Business Development include:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Clearance: TS/SCI</p> </li><li> <p>Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Public Administration, or a related field. Engineering degree preferred.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience:</p> </li><li> <p>10+ years of experience in business development, sales, or capture management, with a focus on government contracts.</p> </li><li> <p>Proven track record of successfully securing government contracts and managing complex proposal processes.</p> </li><li> <p>Technical Skills:</p> </li><li> <p>Strong understanding of government procurement processes and regulations.</p> </li><li> <p>Proficiency in using CRM systems, proposal management tools, and other relevant software.</p> </li><li> <p>Soft Skills:</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.</p> </li><li> <p>Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, APMP) are a plus.</p> </li></ul> <p>Compensation for the Director of Business Development include:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Salary:</p> </li><li> <p>Base 160,000-180,000 Depending on Experience and Education Level</p> </li><li> <p>OTE 300K+ dependent on meeting targets and quotas</p> </li><li> <p>Comprehensive Benefits: 100% covered Medical, 401K, Unlimited PTO, Sick Leave as required by law, and Holidays</p> </li></ul> <p>This job opens for applications on 4/29/25.
