<p>Kforce is working with a client looking for a Data Analyst to join an IT-focused analytics team supporting data-driven initiatives across the organization. This role requires 5 days onsite in downtown Saint Louis, MO.</p> <p>Summary: This role partners closely with business stakeholders, product teams, and developers to deliver accurate, timely data insights through ad-hoc reporting and analysis. You'll translate business questions into clear data requirements, build queries to extract meaningful insights, and serve as a subject matter expert for key data sets. This position plays a hands-on role in enabling smarter decisions through reliable, well-documented data.</p> <p>What You'll Do:</p> <ul> <li>Respond to ad-hoc data and reporting requests from business and product partners </li><li>Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify requirements and ensure the right data is being delivered </li><li>Write and optimize T-SQL queries to support analysis, reporting, and broader data initiatives </li><li>Validate and review data outputs to ensure accuracy, completeness, and quality </li><li>Provide peer review and support to other analysts on the team, especially for complex requests </li><li>Identify opportunities to improve team processes, documentation, and data practices </li><li>Manage and prioritize incoming requests based on urgency, impact, and team capacity </li><li>Build strong working knowledge of internal applications, business processes, and how they impact data </li><li>Act as a subject matter expert for assigned raw data sources and maintain related documentation* Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or equivalent experience </li><li>1-3 years of experience in financial, investment, technical, or analytical roles </li><li>Working knowledge of financial services concepts and terminology, with exposure to wealth management preferred </li><li>Solid understanding of T-SQL, relational databases, and basic data modeling principles </li><li>Ability to write SQL queries that aggregate, analyze, and model large, complex data sets </li><li>Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills with the ability to identify patterns and relationships in data </li><li>Interest in growing skills related to building normalized datasets for enterprise reporting and business intelligence </li><li>Clear communication skills and the ability to explain data findings to non-technical audiences </li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook </li><li>Experience working with ticketing systems </li><li>Familiarity with reporting, documentation, and productivity tools </li><li>Exposure to system monitoring and logging tools </li><li>Understanding of client/server architecture, APIs, and relational databases </li><li>Ability to write intermediate SQL queries </li><li>AWS and Python experience preferred </li></ul>
