<p>Kforce's client is seeking a UX/UI Product Design that lives in Salt Lake City, UT - as this will be a hybrid schedule. This is not a designer's first UX role. We're looking for someone who is comfortable owning designs end-to-end, collaborating closely with engineers, and contributing practical, user-centered solutions in a highly technical setting.</p> <p>What You'll Do:</p> <ul> <li>Design and refine user-centered interfaces for the IQ product, focusing on usability, clarity, and consistency </li><li>Work closely with engineering teams, embedding directly within engineering workflows to ensure designs are feasible and well-integrated </li><li>Contribute across the full design lifecycle-from discovery and research through prototyping and final handoff </li><li>Apply strong design judgment to complex systems and workflows rather than consumer-focused experiences </li><li>Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, and business stakeholders </li><li>Support and evolve design patterns and systems to ensure scalable, consistent experiences* College degree not required, but nice to have; Experience outweighs education </li><li>2-3+ years of professional UX/UI design experience </li><li>Experience working in Figma, Maze, and Jira. </li><li>Designer with Manufacturing, Industrial or defense background. </li><li>Portfolio shared during the initial screening call. </li><li>Background designing for manufacturing, industrial, defense, or enterprise applications </li><li>Experience working directly with engineers and within technical product teams </li><li>Strong understanding of user research, interaction design, and prototyping </li><li>Experience with instructional or instructible design is a plus (not required) </li><li>Focused on functional, workflow-driven design-not consumer-facing or marketing UI work </li><li>Proven experience designing non-consumer, enterprise or industrial products </li><li>Portfolio required and reviewed during the initial screening call </li></ul> <p>Hands-on experience with:</p> <ul> <li>Figma </li><li>Maze </li><li>Jira </li></ul>
