<p>Posting Details</p> <p>Position Information</p> <p>Job Title Clinical Coordinator - MS Counseling Psychology Program Posting Number S1545P Pay Range</p> <p>The compensation for this appointment will range from $22.47 to $26.44 hourly and reflects what California Baptist University reasonably expects to pay for this staff appointment. Actual compensation may vary based on the qualifications and experience of the applicant, as well as market conditions. In addition to wages, CBU offers a robust suite of employee benefits.</p> <p>Position Summary Information</p> <p>Summary</p> <p>The MS Counseling Psychology (MSCP) Clinical Coordinator (CC) provides leadership in promoting the mission of the University, College of Behavioral and Social Sciences (CBSS), and MSCP program. The CC collaborates with the MSCP Director of Clinical Training to support the daily operations of student clinical placements and student submission of required Board of Behavioral Science (BBS) and program documentation. In addition, under the direction of the CBSS Director of Operations, the CC oversees CBSS event planning and execution, managing social media presence, championing college programs and initiatives, and conducting community research and data analysis.</p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</p> <p>Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.</p> <ul> <li>Support the DCT with site placement paperwork review and ongoing clinical paperwork requirements of Counseling Psychology students. </li><li>Serve as administrative leader for program software management and training for faculty and students (e.g., Tevera). </li><li>Collaborates and works closely with the MSCP Project Specialist/Professional License Analyst. </li><li>Complete all requested reports in a timely fashion. </li><li>Partner with academic advising and/or registrar's office for management of student degree requirements as needed. </li><li>Communicate effectively with the DCT regarding student issues, academic and University policy and other matters. </li><li>Assist students with concerns and make appropriate recommendations for resolution. </li><li>Update Tevera records and class/cohort assignments within the platform each semester. </li><li>Maintain accurate records of sites, supervisors, and students in Tevera. </li><li>Maintain current and accurate clinical affiliation site information, supervisor records, clinical population information, and clinical affiliation contracts at the direction of the DCT. </li><li>Track students with Satisfactory Progress grades and update records when fieldwork progress is complete. </li><li>Interpret University policies and requirements as they apply to the MSCP program. </li><li>Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to enhance the college's online presence and engagement with the community. </li><li>Plan and coordinate community outreach activities, including volunteer events, workshops, and informational sessions. </li><li>Coordinate, update, and produce marketing materials for CBSS. </li><li>Work closely with various departments within the CBU community (e.g., marketing, public relations, operations) to align community engagement efforts with overall CBSS goals. </li><li>Collaborate with CBSS Dean, Associate Deans, faculty, staff, and external stakeholders to plan and execute events, including advisory council meetings, faculty meetings, seminars, workshops, conferences, and community outreach programs. </li><li>Support the University's mission and goals, the continuous quality improvement process and embrace a broad institutional view. </li><li>Serve as a team member and lead through service and modeling. </li><li>Build consensus between administration and faculty, respecting lines of communication as set forth by the University. </li></ul> <p>Supervisory Responsibilities</p> <p>This position could be responsible for assigning work and/or giving direction to part-time Student Workers, in order to complete office work assignments.</p> <p>Other Knowledge Skills and Abilities</p> <p>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.</p> <ul> <li>Demonstrated ability and willingness to live and uphold the University's Christ-centered mission and values. </li><li>Skill in the use of personal computers and related software applications. </li><li>Skill in the social media platforms including: Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc. </li><li>Ability to make administrative and procedural decisions and judgments on sensitive, confidential issues. </li><li>A thorough knowledge of: Business English and arithmetic; general office methods, procedures and practices. </li><li>Ability to plan, develop, and coordinate multiple projects. </li><li>Ability to read and write at a level appropriate to the duties of the position. </li><li>Ability to use independent judgment, and to manage and impart confidential information. </li><li>Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports. </li><li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with a diverse faculty, staff and student body. </li><li>Ability to supervise and train staff, including organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling work assignments. </li><li>Strong organizational skills and detail oriented. </li><li>Ability to maintain confidentiality. </li><li>Excellent telephone courtesy, knowledge and experience. </li><li>Ability to coordinate and organize meetings and/or special events. </li><li>Knowledge of standard budgeting, and expenditure control procedures and documentation. </li><li>Ability to interpret, adapt, and apply guidelines and procedures. </li><li>Ability to create, compose, and edit written materials. </li><li>Ability to develop and maintain recordkeeping systems and procedures. </li><li>Ability to resolve customer complaints and concerns. </li><li>Ability to investigate and analyze information and to draw conclusions. </li></ul> <p>PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and sit; and requires sufficient hand, arm, and finger dexterity to operate computer keyboard or other office equipment. Requires visual acuity to read words and numbers; and speaking and hearing ability sufficient to communicate in person or over the phone. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
