<p>Responsible for the performance of overnight polysomnography, four channel sleep screenings and CPAP/BIPAP titrations per physicians' orders. Responsible for the setup, oversight and scoring of sleep tests, including storage of data, oxygen therapy, introduction of CPAP/BIPAP equipment.</p> <p>Proper sizing of masks and accessories, initiation of CPAP/BIPAP therapy as well as proper titration. Responsible for the care, calibration, cleaning and proper maintenance of the sleep equipment as well as maintaining an inventory of supplies and equipment.</p> <p>Required Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Minimum of 2 years of Clinical experience. </li><li>Excellent Time management skills. </li><li>Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary for proper assessment leading to proper test and treatment selection. </li><li>Testing normally involves monitoring and treating more than one patient at a time. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Able to recognize and respond appropriately to medical emergencies. </li><li>Provides testing and care as outlined in Sleep Lab policies and procedures. </li></ul> <p>Educational Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Graduate of an AMA approved program for Respiratory Care or Sleep Medicine </li><li>Have appropriate clinical experience or have a certificate of completion from a polysomnography or EEG program. </li></ul> <p>License/Certification:</p> <ul> <li>CRT/RRT or Polysomnography Certificate, RPSGT preferred </li><li>BLS certified </li></ul> <p>Age Specific Criteria: Ability to effectively communicate to all age levels served within the scope of the position/assigned areas.</p> <p>Ability to Meet Job Performance Expectations: Must have the ability to perform the essential functions of the position without posing a direct threat to the health and safety of themselves or other individuals in the workplace, with or without a reasonable accommodation.</p> <ul> <li>Salary Range:$31.62-$39.48 </li></ul> <p>Sturdy Memorial Hospital is an equal employment opportunity employer.
