<p>Description</p> <p>Responsible for performing PLC programmer functions at Mobis. PLC programmer is responsible to design, develop, and implement advanced control systems tailored to our clients' specific requirements.</p> <p>The Engineering Manager will provide maximum support to the Production & Quality Control departments with improved production processes, efficiencies, and outstanding engineering customer service.</p> <p>This position is 100% on-site. No hybrid or remote options.</p> <p>Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Design, program, and troubleshoot Mitsubishi PLC systems with a focus on motion control applications like Hyundai robots, servos, motors and conveyors, among others. </li><li>Develop customized control algorithms and motion profiles to optimize system performance. </li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate PLCs with other control systems, such as HMI and MES. </li><li>Conduct thorough testing and validation of control systems to ensure functionality and reliability. </li><li>Provide technical expertise and support to project teams throughout the entire project lifecycle. </li><li>Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in PLC programming and motion control technologies. </li><li>Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge sharing initiatives within the organization. </li></ul> <p>Reporting Relationship:</p> <p>Reports to Engineering/Maintenance Manager</p> <p>Education / Skill / Experience Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in Mechatronics, Electro-Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent. </li><li>Minimum of five (5) years of experience in PLC programming, with a strong emphasis on Mitsubishi PLC. </li><li>Proven track record in designing and implementing motion control systems, including servo and stepper motor applications. </li><li>Proficiency in programming languages such as ladder logic, structured text, and function block diagram. </li><li>Experience with industrial communication and motion control interfaces. </li><li>Strong critical thinking skills and attention to detail. </li><li>Excellent communication and people skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment. </li><li>Prior experience in the automotive industry or similar. </li><li>Safety PLC Programming Experience. </li></ul>
