<p>HR Generalist</p> <p>"To glorify God by providing a continuum of care and services that demonstrates the love and compassion of Jesus Christ."</p> <p>Position Summary: Responsible for completing a variety of functions to support the daily operations of the HR department by managing and supporting core HR operations with a strong focus on onboarding, compliance, employee records, payroll support, and regulatory coordination.</p> <p>Essential Responsibilities:</p> <p>Onboarding & Orientation:</p> <ul> <li>Coordinate and manage the full onboarding process for all new hires, Students, Interns, and Contracted staff, ensuring a smooth and compliant transition into the organization. </li><li>Maintain and audit new hire documentation to ensure compliance with employment, regulatory, and organizational requirements. </li><li>Provide consistent communication and status updates to hiring managers throughout the onboarding process. </li><li>Serve as a backup facilitator for new hire orientation sessions as needed. </li><li>Provide backup support for recruiting activities, including phone screenings, interview scheduling, and candidate coordination. </li><li>Support employee retention efforts by identifying trends, tracking feedback, and contributing to improvement strategies. </li><li>Assist with employee engagement initiatives, including conducting and coordinating stay interviews. </li></ul> <p>Payroll & Benefits Support:</p> <ul> <li>Serve as backup support for payroll processing. </li><li>Act as a backup administrator for FMLA </li><li>Manage wage garnishments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal requirements. </li><li>Prepare and submit unemployment documentation and participate in unemployment hearings as needed. </li><li>Support employees with paycheck and benefits-related questions, including new hire benefit explanations. </li><li>Serve as a knowledgeable resource for employees and managers by providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and documentation. </li></ul> <p>Employee Records, Systems & Compliance:</p> <ul> <li>Maintain employee data accuracy across HR systems, including PCC and Relias, serving as a point of contact for system-related updates and issues. </li><li>Process employee status changes, including transfers, and promotions. </li><li>Coordinate and manage security badge access and employee name tag orders. </li><li>Conduct and track Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) checks for new hires and annual renewals. </li><li>Track and maintain TB testing compliance lists until completion. </li><li>DOT Compliance Tracking. </li></ul> <p>Additional Administrative & HR Support:</p> <ul> <li>Support internal and external audits through accurate recordkeeping, reporting, and compliance verification. </li><li>Participate in and support special HR projects and initiatives as assigned. </li><li>Prepare and analyze HR data, metrics, and reports to support workforce planning and decision-making. </li></ul> <p>Education, Training & Experience</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent experience </li><li>Two years of human resources experience preferred. </li></ul>
