<p>POSITION DESCRIPTION</p> <p>The Director, Strategy and Corporate Development will lead Vollrath ("Company") efforts in strategy development, strategy deployment, and mergers & acquisitions. In addition, this position will lead key Company strategic initiatives that arise within the company's overall strategic planning effort.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Lead and facilitate the Company's enterprise-level strategic plan development into key priorities and execution plans. </li><li>Lead strategic problem-solving efforts by identifying key business opportunities, developing hypothesis, and designing required analyses to support prioritization and action against key opportunities. </li><li>Lead the implementation of key strategic initiatives by creating future financial targets, developing key performance metrics, and facilitating the tracking of progress against identified objectives. </li><li>Lead M&A and partnership activities including pipeline development, target screening / assessment, target engagement / relationship development, investment / company valuation, due diligence, and integration planning. </li><li>Lead the creation of business cases and investment rationales in support of Company strategic objectives. </li><li>Facilitate the creation of Company strategic plan materials and other documents which are presented to the Company Leadership team and the Board of Directors. </li><li>Lead ad hoc strategic projects/initiatives as requested and warranted by the business opportunity. </li><li>Analyze and provide key market intelligence data to support company strategy and execution, such as market share and competitor financials, and report findings to senior management in a timely manner. </li></ul> <p>TRAVEL</p> <p>On average, less than 15%. Higher travel as required for M&A projects.</p> <p>QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ul> <li>Seven (7) years or more of experience in financial planning & analysis, corporate strategy, or a related field. </li><li>Candidates should have experience working on multiple transactions and have a firm understanding of deal process and transaction structuring </li><li>Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or equivalent field. </li><li>Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial analysis skills. </li><li>Structured thinking skills. </li><li>Strong ownership mindset. </li><li>Ability to lead through influence. </li><li>Ability to communicate complex models and concepts. </li><li>Ability to interpret data and make thoughtful business recommendations. </li><li>Ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization. </li></ul>
