<p>Medical Respite and Operations Manager</p> <p>Job Code:2026-93-90-003 Location:Flexible Department:Operations Full Time/Part TimeFull Time or Part Time</p> <p>Job Responsibilities:</p> <p>The Medical Respite and Operations Manager is responsible for managing the operations of PCHS' Medical Respite program and Facilities department under the direction of the Chief Operating Officer.</p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Coordinate with partner organizations for referrals into and discharge from PCHS' Medical Respite program </li><li>Assist patients in accessing housing solutions upon discharge </li><li>Support Chief Operating Officer in planning, budgeting, and scheduling operational modifications, including clinical workstations, and boarding spaces and facilities modifications including cost estimates, bid sheets, layouts, and contracts for construction and acquisitions </li><li>Prepare and assist in developing long range plans, conceptual designs, and capital outlay requirements and documentation for program operations </li><li>Ensure that PCHS' Medical Respite program adheres to the National Health Care for the Homeless Council's "Standards for Medical Respite Programs" </li><li>Act as a liaison to PCHS community partners, vendors, and public agencies. Proactively seek out funding opportunities to support PCHS' Medical Respite operations </li><li>Act as a liaison to public utility, environmental, vendors, and energy agencies </li><li>Oversees daily facility operations and staff to ensure safe, efficient, functional equipment and locations </li><li>Makes, executes, and exercises independent judgement about management policies within scope of job description </li><li>Responsible for on-call or after-hours services </li><li>Familiar with using facilities management system software (Ex. FMX) </li><li>Other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Supervisory Responsibilities</p> <p>This position directly supervises the Facilities Helpers and Facilities Specialists.</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Two to five years of customer service experience (required) </li><li>One to two years of directly related experience as a lead or supervisor (preferred) </li><li>Strong general knowledge of facilities, including plumbing, lighting, and medical/dental equipment (preferred) </li><li>Valid driver's license (required) </li></ul> <p>Compensation: Starting at $26.72 - 38.00 *</p> <p>Taking into account education and experience related to the position</p> <p>Skills</p> <p>Must have excellent communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team; to receive and respond well to feedback. Possess strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills; time-management and organizational skills, including being punctual, responsive, and efficient. Essential job functions include the following: The employee is required to talk, hear, see, smell, sit and stand. The employee is frequently required to move around the facility; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is frequently required to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Employees may be exposed to mechanical parts and moderate noise levels. The employee must possess a personal cell phone and maintain active service to facilitate secure access to workplace systems and applications via multi-factor authentication.
