<p>The System Administrator will serve as the subject matter expert for all technology systems and as a help desk escalations channel. The candidate in this role will make significant contributions to our hybrid-cloud architecture and our technical strategy surrounding Baldwin's 'cloud-first' approach to solutions. There will also be a significant role to play in the day-to-day operations of our multi-office (100+ offices) environment.</p> <p>Principal Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Perform advanced support functions for workstations, enterprise software and office infrastructure platforms </li><li>Lead in planning, implementing, and supporting systems </li><li>Auditing of system accounts to ensure licensing and inventory accuracy </li><li>Perform advanced remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques </li><li>Troubleshoot and problem solve core service and support challenges while applying best practices for documentation and change management </li><li>Support basic IT infrastructure, cloud, and networking </li><li>Monitor the remote monitoring and management system alerts and notifications, and respond accordingly through service tickets </li><li>Implementing updates and patches to keep systems secure. </li><li>Monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues. </li><li>Managing user accounts, permissions, and security protocols. </li><li>Other duties and tasks as assigned </li></ul> <p>Education, Experience, Skills and Abilities Requirements</p> <ul> <li>5+ years technical support experience in an enterprise environment </li><li>2+ years of Active Directory and Office365; must have a solid understanding of this basic relationship </li><li>2+ years of creating and managing group policies </li><li>1+ years of basic Windows Server management </li><li>Experience with Microsoft Intune/Endpoint manager is a plus </li><li>Basic understanding of network concepts is required (DHCP, DNS, VLANS, etc) </li><li>Experience with ADFS, SSO, and certificates is a plus. </li><li>Strong organizational and customer service skills </li><li>Ability to make decisions with the best interest of the firm and end-users in mind </li><li>Demonstrate the firm's core values, exuding behavior that is aligned with the firm's culture </li></ul> <p>Important Notice:</p> <ul> <li>This position description is intended to describe the level of work required of the person performing in the role and is not a contract.
