<p>Description</p> <p>Boulder County Community Services is seeking to hire a Client Case Manager. The client case management role will be responsible for a caseload in all elements of one, or more, alternative sentencing programs currently utilized in Boulder County and the corresponding case management team. Current alternative sentencing programs include Electronic Home Monitoring, Day Reporting, Work Release and Community Corrections.</p> <p>JPC Client Case Managers supports clients' practical skills and tools needed to be successful in the program and upon reentry into the community. Emphasis is placed on treatment that specifically addresses criminogenic risk/needs by using social learning skill-building activities to assist with cognitive, social, emotional, and coping skill development, and utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Interventions.</p> <p>This is afull-time, benefitedposition. This position must be available to work non-traditional shifts and workdays that will workSunday - Wednesday or Wednesday - Saturday 10-hour shifts that vary between early and late shifts. Two of the shifts need to be until at least 7pm each week. This position will work at 3260 Airport Road, Boulder,CO. Under Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) guidelines, this position is exempt.</p> <p>Boulder County requires its employees to reside in the state of Colorado as of the first day of work.</p> <p>Hiring Salary Range:$67,068.00 - $81,834.00 Annually</p> <p>Tentative Hiring Timeline:</p> <ul> <li>Phone Screening: March 23rd </li><li>First Round Interviews: Week of March 22nd </li><li>Second Round Interviews: Week of March 29th </li><li>Reference Check: Week of March 29th </li></ul> <p>New employees receive an 80-hour bank of vacation at the time of hire, in addition to 8 hours of both vacation and medical leave accruals each month (Must not have been employed at Boulder County during the 12 months prior to re-hire date to qualify). Boulder County offers bountiful benefits, including pension contributions.</p> <p>Boulder County employees may qualify for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF). Visit studentaid.gov for more information.</p> <p>Examples of Duties</p> <ul> <li>Exercises direct and indirect supervision of JPC clients and ensures compliance with program policies, procedures, rules, regulations, standards, local and state statutes, and best practices </li><li>Performs case management for assigned clients using validated assessment tools; co-creates case plans with clients; utilizes evidence-based practices in interactions and interventions </li><li>Supports leadership in the planning and implementation of a comprehensive plan to transition sentencing programs from the Sheriff's Office and private vendors to the JPC </li><li>Coordinates in other areas of the JPC to ensure efficient and effective dissemination of information, scheduling of program related client activities inside and outside the facility and other program specific items that must be accounted for in daily facility operations </li><li>Participates in off-site job/activity checks, substance use testing, random searches of property and person and documentation and conducts investigation of rule violations </li><li>Ensures that proper intake procedures, client evaluations and release from sentence reviews are computed in a timely manner and that related client updates are properly disseminated </li><li>Responds to emergency situations involving clients both inside and outside of the facility and after standard work hours when necessary </li><li>Coordinates with courts, probation, and other law enforcement agencies regarding client assignment, participation, and compliance with sentencing programs, including DCJ standards </li><li>Regularly participates in cross-program training to provide program coverage, on-call consultation, and technical assistance to staff. </li><li>Exercises accountability to the system partners throughout the 20th Judicial, provides documentation to court as needed, and provides written and oral testimony if required </li><li>Support senior leadership in EOC emergency situations as directed. </li><li>Conducts financial discussions with clients regarding program fees, restitutions, and personal budgeting </li><li>Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications</p> <p>PLEASE NOTE: When completing your application describe all relevant education and experience, as applications are assessed based on the required qualifications listed.
