Position is eligible for benefits.</p> <p>DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Perform preventive maintenance on heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems district wide. </li><li>Inspect equipment to insure it is operating efficiently. </li><li>Perform routine HVAC, refrigeration, and freezer repairs and adjustments. </li><li>Monitor HVAC through lap top (D.D.C.). </li><li>Prioritize routine, work orders and requests. </li><li>Adjust HVAC through lap-top (D.D.C.). </li><li>Establish and maintain evening program. </li><li>Work with contractors and review contract specifications. </li><li>Make computer (D.D.C.) parameter changes. </li><li>Review machinery specifications. </li><li>Study the industry for newest equipment and controls. </li><li>Perform emergency HVAC, refrigeration, and freezer repair and adjustments. </li><li>Review blueprints. </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent </li><li>Trade School courses in refrigeration and heating equivalent to up to two years of college. </li><li>Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds </li><li>Must be able to pass a post offer, pre-employment physical. </li><li>Must be able to pass a Colorado and Federal Bureau of Investigation background check. </li></ul> <p>REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:</p> <ul> <li>Three (3) years of commercial HVAC experience within the last five (5) years. </li><li>Basic math, writing, communication, and microcomputer skills. </li><li>Working knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements and trade standards. </li><li>Working knowledge of electrical and plumbing trades. </li><li>Operating knowledge of and experience with multi-meter and microcomputers. </li><li>Operating knowledge of pneumatic and refrigeration test equipment, D.D.C. software. </li><li>Laptop and D.D.C. troubleshooting required within 12 months after hire. </li></ul> <p>CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, & REGISTRATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Valid Colorado driver license </li><li>Universal Refridgeration Certification required at hire. </li><li>Boiler/RCFR required within 12 months of hire. </li></ul> <p>Links to Important Job Information:</p> <p>Benefits Information</p> <p>Salary Schedules</p> <p>Leaves Information</p> <p>Non-Discrimination Notice</p> <p>All future correspondence will be handled via the email address you provided in your online application.
