<p>We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to be a core member of our AI-native team. In this role, you will leverage AI tools and agent-based solutions to fast-track our work, specifically focusing on the migration of legacy business applications to a modern, open-source suite. You will be a key contributor in a greenfield environment, where you will apply AI to solve complex migration challenges at scale.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Accelerate Development with AI: Use AI-assisted development tools to write, test, and debug code more efficiently, focusing on the core logic needed to build and integrate the new open-source applications using Python and JavaScript. </li><li>Lead Technical Development & Strategy: Take ownership of the technical direction, from initial design to implementation, with the goal of a seamless transition to open-source platforms. </li><li>Drive Strategic Migration: Work with cross-functional partners to identify key migration challenges that can be solved with AI, ensuring a smooth and rapid transition for business applications. Develop intelligent agents and workflows that can understand, analyze, and assist in the porting of business logic, data, and user configurations to new open-source systems. </li><li>Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with internal stakeholders and teams to understand business application requirements, pain points, and to ensure the new open-source solutions meet operational needs. </li><li>Ensure Code Quality and Scalability: Maintain high standards for code quality and system reliability, ensuring that all solutions, while developed with AI assistance, meet our requirements for performance and security.Minimum Qualifications </li><li>5+ years of experience in software development with a strong focus on backend systems. </li><li>Proven proficiency in full stack web development using languages like Python and JavaScript for building robust, scalable applications. </li><li>Experience with containerization technologies and cloud environments (e.g., Kubernetes, OCI, AWS). </li><li>Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and drive technical initiatives independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Hands-on experience with generative AI and large language models (LLMs), including their application in coding, automation and data analysis. </li><li>Experience in designing or developing automation agents or similar intelligent systems. </li><li>Demonstrated ability to contribute to architectural design, translate business goals into a technical vision, and make sound, data-driven decisions. </li><li>Experience with user interface designing keeping user experience at the forefront. </li><li>Experience with AI enabled tools like Devin, Replit, cursor, zapier etc. along with A strong understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines. </li></ul>
