Must be enrolled in school the semester following your co-op.</p> <p>The co-op will work closely with our Derivatives Management team for 40 hours/week (Mon-Fri) in West Des Moines, Iowa.</p> <p>Accountabilities:</p> <ul> <li>Supports the day to day derivative hedging process by conducting analysis and generating reports. </li><li>Assist with creation and enhancement of risk management models and improve the efficiency of the derivative hedging processes and systems. </li><li>Conduct analysis on financial derivatives such as options, futures, and swaps using statistical, mathematical, financial and computer programming skills. </li><li>The expansive daily exposure to the financial trading activities will allow the co-op to attain a higher level of both theoretical and practical understanding of hedging and risk management. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications and Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Pursuit of Bachelor's or Master's level degree in Economics, Finance, Statistics, Math, Physics, Computer Science, or other STEM majors </li><li>Solid quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills </li><li>Highly detail-oriented, quick learner and ability to function in fast-paced team environment </li><li>Solid social skills and written communication ability </li><li>Experience with, MS Excel, MS Access, VBA and statistical software </li></ul> <p>Drive.
