Your top priority as a Senior Manager, Finance Shared Services is to lead the Company's strategic direction and administration of business processes for the Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Travel & Expense Management, and Payroll functions. To partner cross-functionally and collaboratively with the business to provide operational support as the business grows and evolves. Your positive, professional, roll-up-your-sleeves-to-help attitude contributes to our winning culture and makes sure we leave a lasting impression.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Oversee the direction and delivery of our Finance Shared Service group including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll teams ensuring financial transactions, policies, and procedures meet the organization's business objectives and are conducted in accordance with regulations and standards. </li><li>Develops and oversees the implementation of a long-term strategic road map and financial objectives for effective and efficient delivery of enterprise-wide Finance Shared Services. </li><li>Develop partnerships with business leaders; aligns delivery of Finance Shared Services to meet business objectives. Establishes service level agreements (SLA's) and monitors KPI's for adherence. </li><li>Oversee the design and execution of improvement initiatives within Finance Shared Services. Leads the identification and implementation of process and people related improvements to include automation opportunities. </li><li>Recommends and implements new policies or modifications to existing policies; interprets and executes policies for departments/projects. </li><li>Establishes contracts and manages relationships with strategic vendor partners to drive best in class service and cost savings. </li><li>Direct strategic, tactical and operational planning for the Finance Shared Services department, including strategically implementing automation, AI, or other new technologies into our business processes to improve efficiencies while optimizing cost structures. </li><li>Designs and implements internal controls that will safeguard company assets and all confidential information. </li><li>Develops and fosters a culture within Shared Services that promotes teamwork and exceptional customer service that is collaborative and focused on employee engagement, high performance, and operational excellence. Develop team members skills and identifies opportunities for and the design of common optimized processes across all businesses. </li><li>Supervises and manages employees as it relates to all projects or related work, establishes performance requirements, clarifies responsibilities of those supervised, conducts performance appraisals and plans for individual employee development. </li></ul> <p>What you will bring to the table:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration, required. </li><li>Certified Public Accountant (CPA), preferred. </li><li>At least 7 years of experience with Shared Services functions in a large private or publicly traded retail company with a strong internal control environment. </li><li>At least 3 years of supervisory experience with proven skills in the areas of motivation, employee development and change management. </li><li>Communicates expectations, monitors and manages performance, provides appropriate recognition and rewards, and provides constructive feedback. </li><li>Strong collaboration skills and the ability to build strong business relationships at all levels throughout the organization to drive change and continuous improvement. </li><li>Experience demonstrating knowledge of operational processes, systems and internal controls. </li><li>Demonstrated high level of initiative and drive; ability to multi-task, work efficiently, and manage deadlines in a fast-paced, high growth environment. </li><li>Broad operating style, ability to adapt across environments and styles. </li><li>Experience with a large-scale ERP system; Microsoft Dynamics AX or D365 experience preferred. </li><li>Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with a wide variety of customers, company personnel, and others. </li><li>Demonstrates Northern Tool + Equipment's Core Competencies. </li></ul> <p>About Us</p> <p>Northern Tool + Equipment is a family business with roots stretching back three generations to Minnesota's Iron Range, where our blue-collar work ethic and commitment to serving the people who do the tough jobs was born. We believe in rewarding top talent with pay that reflects your value.</p> </li><li> <p>Variable Pay: Variable pay is a component of compensation that can fluctuate based on performance, results, or specific metrics, rather than being a fixed amount like a salary. Annual bonus tied to company performance are paid annually. Incentive plans tied to an achievement-based outcome are generally paid monthly to quarterly.</p> </li><li> <p>The NTE AIP plan pay ranges from 5% to 100% of base salary. Eligibility is based on grade and roles that manage performance.
