<p>Alden School is seeking exceptional candidates for the position of Adjustment Counselor for the 2025-2026 school year.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Consult with administration, teachers, support staff and families to support the emotional and behavioral needs of all students </li><li>Support students as they build coping skills and develop resilience in order to better manage challenges </li><li>Strengthen the home to school partnerships to bolster student success </li><li>Serve as a resource for families to access community based services </li><li>Collaborate with outside therapists to increase effectiveness of interventions </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Current certification from Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education - School Social Worker/School Adjustment Counselor - All Levels </li><li>Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited college or university </li><li>Experience meeting the social-emotional needs of students in grades 3-5 </li><li>Citizenship, residency or work visa required </li></ul> <p>All full-time employees are eligible to participate in the Town of Duxbury Benefit plans that include health insurance (25% employee contribution), dental insurance, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, vision insurance, pet insurance, accident insurance, cancer insurance, critical illness insurance, prescription drug program, 529 College Savings plan, and an employee assistance program.</p> <p>Salary based on the current Duxbury Teachers' Contract.</p> <p>The mission of Alden School is to provide each student with the opportunity to achieve personal and academic excellence.
