This role requires advanced financial analysis skills, including the ability to interpret accrual-based financial statements and assess the overall financial health of businesses.</p> <p>The ideal candidate will have experience analyzing financial trends, understanding key concepts such as Net Working Capital, Leverage, Deferred Revenue, and Cash Flow Analysis. Proficiency in reviewing and interpreting the Balance Sheet, Income Statement, and Statement of Cash Flows is essential.</p> <p>The Credit Analyst will identify potential credit risks, recommend strategies to maintain credit quality, and minimize loss exposure. The role also involves leveraging analytical tools and software to evaluate individual credits and portfolios.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Perform in-depth financial and credit analysis on new and existing customers. </li><li>Interpret accrual-based financial statements and assess financial trends. </li><li>Analyze key financial metrics, including liquidity, leverage, profitability, and cash flow sustainability. </li><li>Evaluate Net Working Capital, Deferred Revenue implications, and overall financial health. </li><li>Review customer accounts and portfolios to identify potential credit risks. </li><li>Prepare detailed credit reports and recommendations for decision-makers. </li><li>Utilize credit analysis tools and software to support evaluations. </li></ul> <p>Basic Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (or equivalent work experience). </li><li>Typically four or more years of relevant experience in credit or financial analysis. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Skills/Experience</p> <ul> <li>Strong financial and credit analysis skills with emphasis on accrual accounting. </li><li>Expertise in analyzing Balance Sheets, Income Statements, and Cash Flow Statements. </li><li>Thorough understanding of Net Working Capital, Leverage, Deferred Revenue, and Cash Flow Analysis. </li><li>Knowledge of credit administration, policy, and risk analysis. </li><li>Effective technical report writing and communication skills. </li><li>Proficient in financial modeling and computer navigation using various software tools. </li><li>Master's degree, CPA, or CFA certification preferred. </li></ul> <p>Ideal Candidate Profile</p> <ul> <li>Financial Acumen: Demonstrates mastery of accrual accounting principles and advanced financial analysis techniques. </li><li>Cash Flow Expertise: Skilled in evaluating cash flow sustainability and understanding its impact on credit risk. </li><li>Analytical Strength: Ability to identify financial trends and interpret complex financial data. </li><li>Technical Knowledge: Comfortable with key financial concepts such as Net Working Capital, Leverage ratios, Deferred Revenue, and Cash Flow Analysis. </li><li>Statement Analysis: Highly proficient in analyzing Balance Sheets, Income Statements, and Statements of Cash Flows to assess liquidity, profitability, and solvency. </li><li>Risk Awareness: Ability to evaluate credit risk holistically and recommend strategies to mitigate exposure. </li><li>Communication Skills: Capable of presenting findings clearly and persuasively to stakeholders. </li><li>Technology Savvy: Adept at using financial modeling tools and credit analysis software. </li></ul> <p>Location - The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.</p> <p>If there's anything we can do to accommodate a disability during any portion of the application or hiring process, please refer to our disability accommodations for applicants.</p> <p>Benefits:</p> <p>Our approach to benefits and total rewards considers our team members' whole selves and what may be needed to thrive in and outside work. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role.
