<p>Facilities Tech</p> <p>RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Repair and maintenance of station equipment - Overhead intake station displacement AC blowers, compressor motors and electrical controllers, heating units, air conditioning units, water heaters, refrigerators, sinks, and toilets </li><li>Repair broken or inoperable devices using dry walling, plumbing, locksmith and carpentry skills. </li><li>Troubleshoot equipment in a timely manner to keep stations and offices operable minimizing any downtime internal or external customers may experience. </li><li>Ensure preventive maintenance for all devices listed above based on factory recommended and Federal Register required frequencies are completed in their entirety and on schedule. </li><li>Maintain inventory and requisition supplies as needed. </li><li>Complete the necessary paperwork, report on assigned work, and assist in the completion of records, reports, and other test documents. </li><li>Provide the Inspection Facility Managers with telephone consultation regarding major issues and safety issues. </li><li>Perform other tasks as directed by Systems Support management. </li></ul> <p>Physical Demands</p> <p>Working in an area with high noise level. Exposure to exhaust fumes and extreme weather conditions. Lifting of 75 lbs. from ground to chest level. Frequent walking, bending and stooping.</p> <p>QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ul> <li>High school graduate or equivalent. </li><li>HV/AC certification is highly preferred - but not required. </li><li>3-5 years of experience with maintenance and repair of commercial facilities. </li><li>Current driver's license and good driving record. </li></ul>
