The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent leadership skills, and a keen eye for detail.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Manage the full cycle of accounts payable processes. </li><li>Supervise and mentor AP staff, ensuring high performance and professional development. </li><li>Oversee a team that services 24 manufacturing locations across the US. </li><li>Review and approve invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies. </li><li>Maintain vendor relationships and resolve any discrepancies or issues. </li><li>Prepare and analyze AP reports, providing insights to senior management. </li><li>Implement and improve AP processes and systems for efficiency. </li><li>Ensure timely and accurate payment of invoices. </li><li>Collaborate with other departments to support overall financial goals. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar role. </li><li>Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred but dependent upon relevant work experience. </li><li>Proven leadership and team management skills. </li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. </li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. </li><li>Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. </li><li>Experience with SAP or JDE World is preferred. </li><li>Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy. </li></ul>
