<p>Posting Number: 20251287F Position Title: Adjunct Faculty - College of Nursing - Advanced Pathophysiology Position Type: Faculty Location: Villanova, PA Recruitment Type: Internal/External Applicants Work Schedule: part-time/12-months Department: 232-Nursing Position Summary:</p> <p>Villanova University College of Nursing has an ongoing need for highly qualified adjunct (part-time) faculty to provide instruction in the classroom for the advanced pathophysiology course. The University is an equal opportunity employer and seeks candidates who understand, respect and can contribute to the University's mission and values.</p> <p>Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Understand the course objectives for the course which adjunct faculty is assigned and be familiar with the overall curriculum of the College of Nursing. </li><li>Provide supervision of students in the classroom (in-person or online) or clinical setting. </li><li>If a clinical course, visit students in their precepted clinical sites at least two times a semester. </li><li>Provide supervision of students in weekly case presentations groups. </li><li>Prepare student to develop competent clinical decision-making capability by facilitating sound clinical reasoning and critical thinking techniques. </li><li>Foster communication skills with preceptors and course faculty. Validate students' understanding of theoretical, scientific, and evidence based practice. </li><li>If in clinical course, evaluate students' clinical practice and provide feedback to students on their accomplishment of clinical objectives by completing a formal Clinical Evaluation. </li><li>Guide students in their growth within the nursing profession. </li><li>Validate students' understanding of theoretical, scientific and evidence-based concepts to meet course objectives. </li><li>Evaluate and provide feedback to students on their accomplishment of course and clinical objectives. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Master's degree in discipline; Experience in discipline required. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Previous experience in academic teaching and willingness to be flexible in fulfilling responsibilities. </li><li>Doctoral Degree Preferred. </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements and/or Unusual Work Hours: Special Message to Applicants:</p> <p>The College of Nursing will accept applications for an adjunct faculty to teach advanced pathophysiology for graduate nursing students.</p> <p>Posting Date: 10/16/2025 Closing Date (11:59pm ET): Salary Posting Information:</p> <p>This adjunct position falls within the salary range of $1,105.00 - $2,360.00 per credit/contact hour.
