The University is an equal opportunity employer and seeks candidates who understand, respect and can contribute to the University's mission and values.</p> <p>Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Understand the course objectives for the course which adjunct faculty is assigned and be familiar with the overall curriculum of the College of Nursing. </li><li>Provide supervision of students in the classroom (in-person or online) or clinical setting. </li><li>If a clinical course, visit students in their precepted clinical sites at least two times a semester. </li><li>Provide supervision of students in weekly case presentations groups. </li><li>Prepare student to develop competent clinical decision-making capability by facilitating sound clinical reasoning and critical thinking techniques. </li><li>Foster communication skills with preceptors and course faculty. Validate students' understanding of theoretical, scientific, and evidence based practice. </li><li>If in clinical course, evaluate students' clinical practice and provide feedback to students on their accomplishment of clinical objectives by completing a formal Clinical Evaluation. </li><li>Guide students in their growth within the nursing profession. </li><li>Validate students' understanding of theoretical, scientific and evidence-based concepts to meet course objectives. </li><li>Evaluate and provide feedback to students on their accomplishment of course and clinical objectives. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Master's degree in discipline; Experience in discipline required. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Previous experience in academic teaching and willingness to be flexible in fulfilling responsibilities. </li><li>Doctoral Degree Preferred. </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements and/or Unusual Work Hours: Special Message to Applicants:</p> <p>The College of Nursing will accept applications for an adjunct faculty to teach advanced pathophysiology for graduate nursing students.</p> <p>Posting Date: 10/16/2025 Closing Date (11:59pm ET): Salary Posting Information:</p> <p>This adjunct position falls within the salary range of $1,105.00 - $2,360.00 per credit/contact hour.
