This role focuses on driving sales performance, developing sales strategies, and fostering strong relationships with independent sellers to achieve revenue targets. The Account Manager will work closely with senior leadership to implement sales initiatives and provide ongoing support to the sales team.</p> <p>Opportunity Highlights</p> <ul> <li>Lead and train OPTAVIA coaches in a dynamic direct- selling environment. </li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and engagement. </li><li>Gain hands-on experience in strategic sales planning and performance analysis. </li><li>Build meaningful relationships with OPTAVIA coaches and industry leaders. </li><li>Work in a dynamic and supportive environment with opportunities for career growth. </li></ul> <p>Job Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li> <p>Sales Leadership & Team Development</p> </li><li> <p>Conduct compensation plan training, present company's growth strategy at field training and zooms. Attend workshops, in person meetings, zooms to drive participation in the company's growth strategy selling techniques.</p> </li><li> <p>Establish sales targets by region and line of business and track performance of the channel progress via key performance indicators (KPIs).</p> </li><li> <p>Channel expansion and drive participation in company initiatives.</p> </li><li> <p>Sales Strategy & Execution</p> </li><li> <p>Develop and implement sales growth plans to increase market share, coach sponsoring and client acquisition to fuel revenue growth.</p> </li><li> <p>Monitor and analyze sales performance, providing field and company stakeholders with regular feedback and tactical recommendations.</p> </li><li> <p>Address challenges faced by OPTAVIA Coaches and provide effective solutions.</p> </li><li> <p>Relationship Management</p> </li><li> <p>Build strong relationships with OPTAVIA Coaches to drive channel expansion and productivity growth.</p> </li><li> <p>Work closely with marketing, operations, and coach/client support teams to align sales efforts with company goals.</p> </li><li> <p>Provide regular summaries of Field leaders that you have participated in meetings, zooms or phone calls.</p> </li><li> <p>Industry Engagement & Market Analysis</p> </li><li> <p>Participate in industry events and conferences to build brand awareness and network with potential clients.</p> </li><li> <p>Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activity, and customer preferences to refine sales strategies.</p> </li><li> <p>Operational & Budget Management</p> </li><li> <p>Support budget tracking and expense management for sales initiatives.</p> </li><li> <p>Optimize resource allocation to maximize sales performance.</p> </li></ul> <p>Scope</p> <ul> <li>Collaborates with key internal stakeholders, including marketing, sales operations, and leadership. </li><li>Drives measurable improvements in Client acquisition, retention and Coach Sponsoring. </li></ul> <p>Knowledge, Education, Skills & Abilities</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree </li><li>5+ years of experience in sales, account management, or team leadership in a direct-selling or similar environment. </li><li>Proven ability to lead and develop a high-performing sales team. </li><li>Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. </li><li>Ability to analyze data, set targets, and drive results. </li><li>Proficiency in CRM software and sales tracking tools. </li><li>Self-motivated with strong problem-solving abilities. </li><li>Willing to travel up to 25% annually for client meetings and industry events. </li></ul> <p>At Medifast, Relationships Are At The Center Of What We Do!</p> <p>We thrive by elevating our connections with one another as well as with our Coaches & Clients.
