The shift is Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, from 7pm-7:30am, at Methodist Hospital.</p> <p>Prepares and provides neurophysiological testing and monitoring in the clinical, Neurotelemetry, and EMU settings according to departmental guidelines. Demonstrates knowledge/understanding of typical neurophysiological patterns. Works with a moderate degree of supervision when recording and monitoring patient data. Reports findings and triages patient care needs when necessary. Maintains quality recordings and skilled in troubleshooting techniques.</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma/GED is required. Associate's Degree is preferred. </li><li>0-2 years of relevant experience preferred. </li><li>Student or graduate from a CAAHEP accredited Neurodiagnostic Program is preferred. </li><li>Required to be on an eligible pathway for R.EEG T. or EP credentialing, as recognized by ABRET, at the time of hire. </li><li>Required to obtain R.EEG T. or EP credential within 24 months of hire based on department requirements. </li><li>Requires current BLS certification. </li><li>May require ability to meet all EEG competencies based on department requirements. </li><li>Requires manual dexterity, visual acuity and the ability to concentrate for extended amounts of time under stressful conditions in order to properly and effectively administer Neurophysiological monitoring and testing. </li></ul> <p>#LI-Onsite</p>
