Every day, we strive for excellence through our willingness to adapt, learn, and our tenacity to overcome barriers, together.</p> <p>Opportunity Overview</p> <p>Reporting to the Head, North America Training, the Director of Customer Facing Training is responsible for the development of training programs and processes in support of all North American (NA) customer facing roles, ensuring the successful growth of IMCIVREETM and launch of future indications and products. This will include disease state knowledge, product/therapeutic landscape knowledge, customer engagement strategies, compliance, training initiatives for all national meetings, and other commercialization processes and systems. They will also be responsible for reviewing and improving processes and procedures to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of all Customer Facing Training services. Operational responsibilities would include the maintenance of the Customer Facing Training TEAMs site, general project management interactions with vendors, LMS training lead, LMR submission lead, and the management of day-to-day operations.</p> <p>Responsibilities and Duties</p> <ul> <li>Lead, develop, and facilitate training initiatives for customer facing teams to include Territory Manager (sales) team, National Account Director team, Patient Education Manager team, Field Access Manager team, and Area Development Manager team </li><li>Establish goals and learning objectives to design appropriate and effective curriculum, leveraging principles of adult learning, and incorporating all required regulatory and legal compliance requirements </li><li>Lead the development of product, non-product (disease), and customer engagement strategies learning modules </li><li>Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to create appropriate and impactful learning content for all customer facing field teams </li><li>Lead the day-to-day operations necessary to schedule and coordinate with internal faculty, all customer facing field teams' new hire training </li><li>Facilitate virtual and live classrooms for new hire training, sustainment learning and national meetings </li><li>Lead relationships with external training vendors, managing the project plans and timelines through the LMR approval process and maintain material expiration and renewal </li><li>Manage the Learning Management System content to ensure the availability of training resources to new hires and all established customer facing field team members </li><li>Manage external vendor contracting and PO process for aligned projects </li><li>Support Head of Training during annual budget process, quarterly accrual, and forecasting process </li><li>Lead the development and implementation of training initiatives for national meetings for customer facing teams </li></ul> <p>Qualifications and Skills</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in science, business or education; advanced degree is a plus </li><li>Minimum 10 years' experience in biotech/pharma with a minimum of 7 years' experience in a training position </li><li>Experience working in Field based roles is a plus </li><li>Field based leadership is a plus </li><li>Experience with LMS systems, vendor management and training operations preferred </li><li>Demonstrated ability to support the needs of a complex field matrix team (Sales, Market Access, Patient Services, Key Account Managers, etc.) </li><li>Demonstrated ability to develop curriculum and apply training design principles </li><li>Demonstrated success in managing multiple projects simultaneously utilizing strong planning and organizational skills </li><li>Strong interpersonal, presentation, facilitation, and creating problem-solving skills </li><li>Proficiency with PowerPoint and Excel required </li><li>Highly flexible and agile. Able to work with ambiguity and exhibit a high level of creativity, curiosity, influencing and collaboration to implement incremental gains that positively impact the learning of the field organization </li><li>Ability to collaborate with multi-layered stakeholders to help maximize the impact of already experienced customer facing teams </li><li>Requires 20 - 30% travel </li></ul> <p>This role is based out of our corporate office in Boston, Massachusetts. Rhythm operates in a hybrid-work model. Candidates applying must be willing and able to be in the Boston office in coordination with their department and business needs.
