We welcome applications from individuals of all backgrounds and experiences and are committed to building a diverse and inclusive community.</p> <p>Position Title Adjunct Faculty, Geography (2 positions available) Position Number 999927 Position Category School/Division Hofstra College of Liberal Arts and Sciences-Social Science Department Full-Time or Part-Time Part-Time Description</p> <p>The Hofstra University Department of Global Studies and Geography invites applications for part-time adjunct positions to teach up to two in-person undergraduate introductory sections of Introduction to Digital Mapping, Geography 060.</p> <p>The sections are offered on either a Monday/Wednesday schedule or a Tuesday/Thursday schedule. Each class runs for 85 minutes and enrollments for the classes are capped at 35 students. These classes cannot be taught remotely.</p> <p>For this position, at least a master's degree in geography or closely related discipline is preferred but a graduate diploma in GIS and professional experience with GIS will be considered.
