Overview School Nurse Ability School | Part-Time | Englewood, NJ Fall 2025 Start How you'll be there for students:? Be their caregiver, advocate, and safety net. As a School Nurse with Catapult Learning, you'll play a vital role in creating a healthy and supportive learning environment. You'll be the first line of care for students' physical needs and a trusted partner in their overall well-being. With our resources and support, you'll be empowered to provide compassionate care and promote positive health practices that help students feel their best and be ready to learn. Responsibilities As a School Nurse with Catapult Learning, you will: Provide health assessments and first aid to students and staff as needed. Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and school protocols. Maintain accurate and confidential health records for all students. Develop and implement individualized health care plans for students with chronic conditions or special health needs. Promote a safe and healthy school environment by monitoring for communicable diseases and reporting as required. Serve as a liaison between the school, families, and healthcare providers. Educate students and staff on health-related topics such as hygiene, nutrition, and illness prevention. Comply with state and local regulations as well as Catapult Learning policies and procedures. Time off Qualifications What we'll need from you:? The caring, supportive nurse we seek has these qualifications.? ?A current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New Jersey CPR certification (must be maintained throughout employment). At least one year of experience in a school, pediatric, or community health setting preferred. Excellent communication, organizational, and clinical skills. A passion for helping students thrive in a safe and healthy learning environment. Ability to work independently while also collaborating with school teams and families.
