<p>Overview</p> <p>Our growing company is seeking to hire 2nd shift - MIG Welders.</p> <p>Responsible for various types of weld preparation, welding and weld finishing operations to manufacture product to customer drawings, specifications, or other forms of instruction.</p> <p>Pay commensurate with experience</p> <p>$1.50 p/hr. 2nd shift premium</p> <p>Sign-on Bonus $1,000</p> <p>Paid Time Off upon hire, Benefits after 30 days</p> <p>Work week is Mon. through Fri., 2pm to 10pm.</p> <p>Currently working overtime, during the week and also Sat. and some Sun.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Repairs products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling parts </li><li>Maintains welding equipment </li><li>Performs finish grinding applications using manual and power tools </li><li>Sets fixturing and weld set up parameters (amps, volts, etc.) as required </li><li>Knowledge of wire, filler materials and gases applicable for various steel alloys </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Required Experience</p> <ul> <li>High School diploma or GED, prefer a Weld Vocational Tech certification </li><li>One year work experience in various forms of welding, preferably in a production environment </li><li>Proficient in MIG welding techniques </li><li>Knowledge of wire and filler materials and gases application for various alloys, working knowledge of fixturer and weld set-up parameters (amps, volts, etc.) </li><li>Successful completion of an internal welding test, and the ability to achieve certification to customer requirements as applicable </li><li>Ability to read blueprints, especially weld requirement symbols </li><li>Eligible to work in the United States </li></ul>
