The qualified candidate will perform multi-faceted tasking with emphasis on documentation generation, administrative reviews, and technical reviews. This work will be performed on site in Newport RI, there is minimal-to-no telework available.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <p>include but are not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Schedule and conduct regular team meetings. Record notes as needed throughout. </li><li>Conduct Quality Assurance functions for logistics information provided the Government Furnished Information. </li><li>Create, update, and maintain various MS Office products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Teams) </li><li>Research and identify missing miscellaneous parts/pieces for government procurement </li><li>Review Government-provided Statements of Work to ensure accurate descriptions for contracted work </li><li>Use PleaseReview web-based application to assign/review action items across all stakeholders </li><li>Maintain and conduct audits on, material and repair parts inventories. </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to Obtain/maintain SECRET Clearance. </li><li>Ability to communicate, both orally and in writing, with all levels of the contractor and government/military organization </li><li>Possess ability to work in a team environment. </li><li>Complete tasks in a timely manner, often without direct supervision. </li><li>Exceptional organizational, critical thinking skills, and attention to detail </li><li>Proficiency in MS Office Suite, with emphasis on Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint </li><li>Ability to read and comprehend electronics schematics and diagrams, preferred but not required </li><li>Ability to lift 40 lbs. </li></ul> <p>Experience:</p> <ul> <li>4 year degree in any field or 5 years of verified engineering services work. </li><li>Familiarity with government processes desired. </li></ul> <p>Work Location: Newport, RI.</p> <p>MIKEL offers a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package that includes Medical/Dental/Vision Insurance, Flexible Spending Account (FSA), 401k Retirement Plan, Life Insurance, Disability Insurance, Paid Time Off (PTO), and Tuition Reimbursement.</p> <p>Department of Defense Secret Security Clearance or higher is required at time of hire.
