Don't miss out on this chance to take your career to the next level.</p> <p>We encourage all interested and eligible permanent OMV employees to apply-let's drive progress together!</p> <p>Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent plus three years of experience or training in any field.</p> <p>EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:</p> <p>Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will substitute for one year of the required experience.</p> <p>NECESSARY SPECIAL REQUIREMENT:</p> <p>May be required to possess a current Louisiana driver's license at the time of appointment.</p> <p>The official job specifications for this role, as defined by the State Civil Service, can be found here.</p> <p>Job Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Compile statistics for daily, weekly, and monthly reports on production, inventory, sales of inspection stickers, and Risk Management, submitting them to the Motor Vehicle Region Manager/Field. </li><li>Perform daily deposits of all collected funds, ensuring the accuracy of supporting reports and the physical bank deposit. </li><li>Order all necessary supplies, including license plates, camera supplies, forms, and janitorial supplies. </li><li>Verify accuracy of license plates and complete affidavits for any missing items. </li><li>Maintain a complete daily inventory to ensure adequate supplies meet office needs. </li><li>Oversee maintenance of all office equipment and vehicles owned by the Office of Motor Vehicles, coordinating with the local State Police Troop for vehicle upkeep. </li><li>Interact with repair services, data processing centers, and utilities to ensure proper office functioning. </li><li>Ensure compliance with Risk Management requirements within the office or Region. </li><li>Maintain compliance with guidelines for a clean and safe working environment at all times. </li><li>Foster good public relations with the general public, public officials, lending institutions, auto dealers, notaries, Public Tag Agents, etc. </li><li>Promote a positive image as a representative of the Office of Motor Vehicles/Field. </li></ul> <p>Position-Specific Details:</p> <p>Appointment Type: This position is a promotional opportunity for classified, permanent employees of the Louisiana DPS-Office of Motor Vehicles</p> <p>Work Schedule: Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday. </p> <p>Compensation: The salary offered will be determined based on qualifications and experience. The Motor Vehicle Compliance Analysts receive an additional hourly amount added to their base pay depending on how long they have worked for the Louisiana OMV. This, in addition to other types of pay, including market adjustments and promotions.
