<p>Posted: May 7, 2025 Closed: May 21, 2025</p> <p>Employment Opportunity: Extended School Year Special Education POSITION: Middle School Special Education Teacher (Multiple) June 30, 2025-August 7, 2025 Monday-Thursday</p> <p>Shrewsbury Public Schools is currently accepting applications for part-time Special Education Teachers.</p> <p>The Special Education Teacher will provide instruction to students in Grades 5-8 across a six-week period this summer. This collaborative role is working with a team of teachers and paraprofessionals to provide the needed support. The Special Educator is the main classroom teacher and will provide a morning meeting, reading, writing, and math instruction. The classroom consists of a small cohort of students with disabilities.</p> <p>Morning hours are from 7:30am-10:30am, with an additional 30-minute prep time.</p> <p>The position will be paid at the candidate's per diem rate during the school year, or if an external candidate, at an assigned per diem rate based on experience and education.
