<p>About the Role</p> <p>We're seeking a Lead Maintenance Mechanic to oversee daily maintenance operations and support production needs in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This first-shift position (6:45 AM - 3:15 PM) offers an excellent chance to showcase your technical expertise and leadership abilities, driving optimal equipment performance, reducing downtime, and contributing to the overall success of our organization</p> <p>As the Lead Maintenance Mechanic, you'll manage a team of 6-8 skilled technicians, taking charge of day-to-day operations while fostering their growth and skills development.</p> <p>This role also offers the chance to work with a diverse array of equipment supporting heaters and sensors across a variety of industries, including semiconductor, aerospace, defense, medical and clinical applications, as well as industrial sectors.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Lead and supervise a team of maintenance technicians, assigning daily tasks and prioritizing workloads to maximize productivity and minimize equipment downtime. </li><li>Provide technical guidance to the team, troubleshooting and resolving mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic system issues. </li><li>Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to ensure equipment reliability and longevity. </li><li>Conduct regular equipment inspections, identify maintenance needs, and prioritize repair tasks. </li><li>Oversee and coordinate with external facility support vendors as needed. </li><li>Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment history, and spare parts inventory using a CMMS. </li><li>Train and mentor maintenance technicians, fostering skill growth, teamwork, and adherence to safety protocols. </li><li>Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests and implement effective solutions to minimize production interruptions. </li><li>Promote a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement within the maintenance team. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>High-school graduate/GED preferred </li><li>Preferred Two-year degree or Technical Certificate or related experience (5+ years) </li><li>Proven leadership experience in a maintenance or related field, with the ability to lead and motivate a team effectively. </li><li>Hands-on technical knowledge in troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery, including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. </li><li>Experience with PLC troubleshooting is preferred. </li><li>Excellent organizational skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment. </li><li>Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to quality. </li><li>Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures related to equipment maintenance. </li><li>Flexibility to work non-standard hours and respond to emergency situations. </li><li>Proficiency with CMMS for tracking and documenting maintenance activities. </li></ul>
