<p>POSITION SUMMARY Reports To: Director of Radiology Summary: Employee#s primary responsibility is to perform diagnostic ultrasound examination as ordered by physician. Strict guidelines and protocols are followed for each procedure to optimize the quality of the procedure. Responsibilities also include preparing the equipment and supplies for the tests. Work Schedule: Non-standard work hours. While on-call, must be available within 45 minutes. Able to work more than 40 hours per week. SKILLS # ABILITIES Education Associate#s Degree (two-year college or technical school) Experience Two to four years related experience Computer Skills Proficient in Microsoft Office, email and basic computer skills for other software used throughout the hospital for your area of responsibility. Certificates # Licenses Must be ARDMS registered or registry eligible. BLS certification required. Other Requirements Must have two years of technical school in Radiology or a Bachelor#s Degree in Ultrasound.
