<p>Deceuninck North America is seeking a Plant Manager with responsibility for our production facilities in Monroe, OH and Fernley, NV. The ideal candidate will have career experiences leading manufacturing operations (material compound though finished product) with success in driving efficiency and optimizing performance of our people, delivery, quality, and cost. As we deploy automation initiatives, we will need a seasoned leader to ensure seamless integration, safety focus, and employee-centered approach. This position reports to the Vice President Operations.</p> <p>Core Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Serve as a leader of all production operations in Monroe, OH (Extrusion, Pultrusion, Compound, Reclaim) and Fernley, NV (Extrusion) ensure business objective are clearly communicated, measured and achieved. </li><li>Drive a safety focused, high quality, cost optimized and service excellence mind-set throughout the organization. </li><li>Ensure accountability for customer expectations and business results, while driving compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. </li><li>Provide leadership to direct reports (and that of their respective teams) to optimal performance, ensuring their continued development and a positive workplace culture. </li><li>Manage production staffing needs (hourly direct and indirect) as required for on-time delivery of customer product, includes forecasting and communicating needs. </li><li>Oversee production processes, identify bottlenecks, and propose solutions to optimize productivity and minimize downtime. </li><li>Foster a culture of continuous improvement by incorporating Continuous Improvement / Lean Manufacturing strategies. </li><li>Develop automation strategy and provide leadership through implementation on automation initiatives. </li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as engineering, quality assurance, project managers, and maintenance, to identify opportunities for enhancing product quality, reducing costs, and improving overall plant efficiency with goal of improving productivity and margin. </li><li>Facilitate effective communication channels within the plant, ensuring information flow between different departments and shifts. </li><li>Contribute to regular plant meetings, providing updates on production status, performance targets, and improvement initiatives. </li><li>Prepare reports on key performance indicators (KPIs), production metrics, and operational efficiency for management review. </li><li>Ability to travel domestically up to 25% (support Fernley, NV facility). </li><li>Must have US work authorization without the need for sponsorship at any time during the course of employment. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Seven (7)+ years of experience as a Plant Manager in the manufacturing industry with 500+ employees with multi-state work scope, preferably industrial manufacturing, plastics manufacturing or fenestration. </li><li>Four (4) years of experience leading a team of operations / production managers. </li><li>Previous experience with P&L responsibility with success achieving KPIs and performance targets. </li><li>Demonstrated success managing complex projects and business transformation initiatives. Experience implementing automation in manufacturing environments is highly desired. </li><li>Working experience ERP / MRP systems, SAP is desired. </li><li>Experience working in manufacturing operations with ISO 9001 certification. </li><li>Functionally advanced computer skills, to include: Microsoft PowerPoint, Project, Outlook and Excel. </li><li>Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate to a wide range of audiences at all levels of the organization. </li><li>Ability to function well in highly ambiguous situations. </li><li>Must be self-directed and motivated and able to multi-task in fast-paced, 24/7 manufacturing environment. </li></ul> <p>Education Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in engineering, operations, or a manufacturing-related field; Master's degree in business or engineering preferred. </li><li>Lean / 6-Sigma Certification is highly desired. </li></ul> <p>Additional Information:</p> <ul> <li>100% onsite in Monroe, OH. </li><li>Limited relocation assistance available for well-qualified candidates. </li><li>No agency solicitations, please. </li></ul>
