In addition to the requirments below, we are looking for someone with: </li><li>10 Years Experience as an Electrician </li><li>Understands control wiring </li><li>Experience with Industrial and commercial systems </li><li>Clean Driving record </li><li>Must be flexible and available for overnight and weekend hours. </li></ul> <p>Journeyman Electrician</p> <p>POSITION SUMMARY</p> <p>Installs, repairs, and maintains electrical systems in residential, commercial, or industrial settings, including tasks like reading blueprints, troubleshooting electrical issues, wiring fixtures, and ensuring compliance with electrical codes. Expected to work independently on projects while following project specifications and safety guidelines.</p> <p>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Installs and repairs electrical conduits and pipes, wiring, special systems, and fixtures in buildings. </li><li>Ensures materials and installation complies with electrical codes. </li><li>Installs circuit breakers and other electrical hardware and connects wiring to them. </li><li>Connects, tests, and QC's electrical systems to gear assemblies to provide power for the building </li><li>Tests electrical systems to ensure proper installation and operation. </li><li>Inspects electrical systems to determine whether repairs are needed. </li><li>Replaces conduit and wiring as needed. </li><li>Replaces circuit breakers as needed. </li><li>Performs other related duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent required. </li><li>Completion of a formal apprenticeship and valid electrician's license required. </li><li>Ability to read and understand blueprints. </li><li>Extensive knowledge of electrical systems and wiring. </li><li>Ability to use hand tools and power tools. </li><li>Proficient in the use of test meters and other diagnostic equipment. </li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills </li><li>Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. </li><li>Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to exercise initiative, judgment, and discretion. </li><li>Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment. </li><li>Familiar with common industry platforms (Bluebeam, Procore, etc.) </li></ul> <p>Accessibility: If you need an accommodation as part of the employment process, please contact Human Resources at</p> <p>Phone: 816-421-0007</p> <p>Email: hr@bartselectric.com</p> <p>Equal Opportunity Employer, including disabled and veterans.</p> <p>If you want to view the Know Your Rights: Workplace Discrimination is Illegal poster, click</p>
